VP of Recruitment & Retention

The Vice President of Recruitment & Retention is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all IFC recruitment activities in collaboration with the Executive Vice President for Growth & Strategic Communication. He oversees communication and training for chapter recruitment chairs and presidents, manages recruitment software and databases, and ensures timely outreach to prospective members. This role leads major recruitment events such as Recruitment Kickoff, Bid Day, and Meet the Chapters, while also coordinating recruitment marketing efforts with IFC leadership. Additionally, he analyzes recruitment and retention data, develops year-round recruitment strategies, and works with chapters and campus partners to improve engagement, retention, and overall recruitment success.

Ben Berger is a sophomore from Huntington Beach, California and a member of AEPi, majoring in Marketing. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in consumer insights. He is also a member of the American Marketing Association, where he is involved in marketing-related networking and professional development. His goals include improving recruitment and retention efforts to the best of his ability, helping students find community, and enhancing the overall experience at SDSU. Outside of academics and involvement, he enjoys movies, with his favorites including Dune: Part Two, Se7en, Interstellar, and Whiplash.
