VP of Finance
The IFC VP of Finance is responsible for the general supervision of the finances of the San Diego State University IFC as the Acting Treasurer, and is tasked with maintaining complete and up-to-date financial records, receiving all payments due to the IFC and issuing corresponding receipts, and for managing and reporting on the IFC budget.
Glenn Powers is a sophomore from Marin County, California and a member of Delta Sigma Phi, majoring in Public Health with a minor in General Biology. After graduation, he plans to continue building clinical experience while pursuing admission to a healthcare graduate program, combining leadership and service to make a meaningful impact in patient care. He currently serves as Risk Chair for Delta Sigma Phi, where he works to strengthen chapter safety, promote accountability, and support responsible operations. In this role, he has developed a strong foundation in identifying potential risks and implementing practical solutions to mitigate them. His goals include ensuring IFC financial activities are transparent and efficient, while helping all IFC chapters better understand how dues are allocated and how IFC funding can support chapter success.
