Nate Anderson
VP of Community Education
The Vice President of Community Education works with university officials and student organizations to promote responsible citizenship and a positive IFC community at SDSU. He leads initiatives addressing inclusivity, hazing prevention, and the fraternity “hierarchy” system, while coordinating educational programs such as hazing prevention summits and community dialogues. This role supports chapters in completing required safety trainings, works with new member educators to improve recruitment and retention practices, and oversees programs on sexual violence prevention, substance abuse, and bystander intervention. Additionally, he collaborates with campus resources and organizes semesterly risk management education and CPR certification events to enhance member safety and well-being.
Nate Anderson is a sophmore from Medford, Oregon and a member of Zeta Beta Tau, majoring in Psychology. After graduation, he plans to attend law school and become a lawyer. He is also involved on campus as a member of the SDSU Pre-Law Club and serves as a practice player for the women’s basketball team. His previous experience includes serving on Jr. IFC and working as an IFC rush coach, where he gained experience supporting recruitment and education within the Greek community. His goals focus on helping prevent hazing within the Greek community and reducing risks at all Greek life events by promoting education, accountability, and safer practices.
