VP of Risk Management
The IFC VP of Risk Management provides critical support to the Pierce Greek Life Center in regard to risk management programming, IFC leadership development, health and safety initiatives, and related student engagement activities. He also reviews chapter Risk Management Plans and provides recommendations to individual chapter Risk Managers on risk management and health & safety best practices, as well as conducting walkarounds during high-risk weekends to ensure IFC chapters uphold university and IFC stipulations.
Sam Staples is a junior from Washington D.C., and is a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He is majoring in International Economics, and has previously served as the Risk Manager for KA and as the IFC VP of Risk Management during the Spring 2025 term. As VP of Risk Management, his highest priority is to maintain safety and mitigate harmful behaviors in the IFC community.
